Manjoume's in permanent spazz-attack mode, so poor Asuka and Misawa are really alone now. And given how much the writers ignore Misawa, that often amounts to just Asuka. A tragedy, really. But watching her tell everyone off was indeed a delight.
A problem with bad writers is that even when they do manage to come upon something good, they start tainting it if they try to touch it too often. Their insistence on focusing on the Stus usually prevetns good side characters from being damaged, but...
