I think I've mentioned this before, but if I were writing my GX fics now, as opposed to when I started, it would totally star Asuka and focus on her relationship with Fubuki and Ryou. And I'm glad you're having fun writing your AU fic! I honestly don't believe the GX writers had any fun working on that show, I really don't.
