I would not be surprised if TVN screwed it up; I don't hate on them the way others do, but they do make a lot of mistakes beyond just questionable translation choices and style. In any event, I don't recall anything like that in the Overtime subs, which was what I used.

That is a very good point, and something that really helps Wizard out a lot as a show. Because seriously, at that time, Haruto was in no condition to be making that point to Mayu, and the writers knew this and so went to the character who could and would, and in fact helps set up for Rinko bringing in Mayu to Kizaki to work with Section Zero.
