So, after what happened last episode, Dominura's in no condition to be giving out orders at all, so Paraieta decides that she'll pick up on the slack for that. Oh, and Aeru and Nevirl get back from their reconnaissance mission, but it turns out that they were unable to find the airbase again, presumably it moved to somewhere else. Oh, and Wapourif prays in the temple of Tempus Spatium to beg forgiveness for having touched the sacred, and so Morinas grabs Wapourif's hand, puts it on her breast, and says "fine, you'll never touch the sacred again", and walks off.
Various pairs are sent off by Paraieta to track enemy movements, and given the way that Paraieta keeps second guessing herself, and has difficulty getting the others to really believe that she knows what she's doing, she's not doing too well. It doesn't help matters much when Neviril confides in her that she's determined that Amuria and Aeru are the same, never looking at her, seeing her only as a tool to help themselves get higher and higher. Parieta, already feeling inadequate like whoa, stops Nevirl from going any further.
And now how the highlight of the episode, Limone finding Dominura in her room; Dominura is just a wreck, absolutely haunted look in her eyes, singing a song to herself. Limone gets her talking, and Dominura says that the song is about a group of wandering migrants who were taken in by Tempus Spatium. Those migrants became Choir Dextra, and their only purpose was to create the Emerald Ri Maarjon, something they were willing to give their lives for. A bit after that scene, Dominura comes out of her room and just starts gorging, stuffing her face full of food, and when Paraieta tries to ask her for advice, she's all 'what, are you so lacking in confidence you need someone who's been asleep to tell you what to do?', and then there's another heart-to-heart between Limone and Dominura. Dominura says she's not sure, but she thinks that she saw what lied past the Emerald Ri Maarjon, and that's what freaked her out so bad, but both she and Limone live to create Ri Maarjons in the sky, so they can't try to deny that side of themselves.
So yeah, very nice character episode, and I enjoy peeling away the layers of the onion that is Dominura's character.
