We all have a story, or probably more than one, that has taken root deep in our hearts and has become a fixture of our souls. It's a story that forms a cornerstone of what we look for in all other narratives, the sign of what we consider most important to see in any given story and the standard to which all are judged.

The first and foremost story for me is Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Right from the outset it hooked me in with an amazing introduction, and it just kept building up more and more and more until it achieved an ending that just left me in pure awe and wonder. I have watched many amazing shows, but none have had this same singular impact on me.

What about you? What is your narrative of your heart and soul?

At this point I have now seen 20 Super Sentai from beginning to end and so I've decided to rank them up, going from least favorite to most favorite, and I would like to stress that every series on this list has something going for it and even if some were disappointing, they still had aspects to them that made watching them worthwhile. Also, there are going to be spoilers, though I did try not to give too much away.

Now don't get me wrong; I disagree very strongly with everything about this secret, save that I too like to listen to the theme song to cheer myself up...but the mere fact that someone posted a secret about Mahou Sentai Magiranger just leaves me pleased as punch.

Yeah, after watching Linkara's History of Power Rangers (http://atopfourthwall.blogspot.com/search/label/HOPR), I started getting interested in looking into the Super Sentai that Power Rangers took much of its fight footage from. I started with Kyouryu Sentai Zyuranger, which was used for the very first Power Rangers series, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Then I started going through TvTropes to get an overview of which Super Sentai I wanted to watch next, and I settled on Mahou Sentai Magiranger, mostly on the basis that the Rangers got to have capes as part of their costumes.

( I came for the capes, and stayed for the well executed awesomeness. )

So yeah, long story short? If you like great action, character development, and a goodly amount of badass ladies getting to be badass, you should be able to like Mahou Sentai Magiranger!
