At this point I have now seen 20 Super Sentai from beginning to end and so I've decided to rank them up, going from least favorite to most favorite, and I would like to stress that every series on this list has something going for it and even if some were disappointing, they still had aspects to them that made watching them worthwhile. Also, there are going to be spoilers, though I did try not to give too much away.

This super sentai series was pretty much conceived as a tribute to Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, though the similarities mostly correspond to the heroes' characterizations and the bird motif of their outfits. It is also regarded as one of, if not the best Super Sentai series ever conceived.

( As is typical, it's just a bit overhyped. )

Inside a human body, a mysterious power is hidden. With training and discipline, this infinite power can be obtained.

This power is called Aura Power, and is used by the Hikari Sentai Maskmen in their battles against the evil underground empire, Tube!

( Tube? Seriously, that was the best name they could come up with for the evil empire that year? )

Name a female character, and I will either write a fic with a given prompt, or write meta about them.

( Nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure; it works with "Aliens", and it works for Yugioh GX. )

( Now that I look at it again, the upside-down flesh forest is in fact a bunch of giant extended middle fingers. That certainly explains a lot. )

( Sora, you heartless, idiotic monster...wait, what? )

( In looking at the forest, I can't help but notice all the trees are upside-down. )

( Regarding a certain scene near the end of Kingdom Hearts II. You know the one. )

( Let us step back from the trees and look at the forest, see if that changes anything. )

( This time I'm going to watch the whole episode first, and then start writing. Oh, and for the sake of consistency, I'm going to stick with the same fansubbing group as last time. )

Well, not too long ago, the summaries for episodes 98 through 100 of 5Ds were released. Since we now have 100 episodes of 5ds to work with, I figured I'd do a little itty-bitty study; take a look at how the duels throughout all three animes were distributed.

( Note that this is setting aside the issue of who wins and how often )

So, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've been reading two shonen series lately; Fairy Tail, which has been a lot of a lot of fun and one which I look forward to reading for however long it runs...and then there's the other one, Katekyo Hitman Reborn.

Well, that's the two series I've been reading lately, I hope this has been informative for you all out there.

As of late, I've been reading two shonen series that I've been wanting to look into for some time now, albeit for very different reasons. Having caught up with them to their most current chapters, I figured some meta and thoughts were in order. First up, Fairy Tail!
