Where I rewatch Yugioh GX, Episode 86

This has never happened before; even the most pointless and trite episode of GX had something I could work with, something I could riff on and rage about. But this episode...look, I'll sum it up right here; the writers felt like making an extended series of references to Kabuki Theater. That's it, that's the episode in a nutshell. And while I'm sure that if you were really, really, REALLY into Kabuki Theater this episode would be just plain amazing to you, I am left profoundly bored out of my skull at every moment of this episode. No character development, no advancement of the plot, tired repetition of the ever-annoying "Judai imparts valuable life lesson onto much older, more experienced person", who in this case was a freaking Professional Duelist, so while I could get good and mad about that point, I'm just too, well, bored to bother with it.
Fortunately, so to speak, the next episode will have plenty for me to tear into, as Judai finally gets off his fucking ass, and duels Manjoume to get him out of the Association of Light. Needless to say, even this simple plot point is handled in sub-moronic fashion.
