My main concern is that since Amon was a giant hypocrite, the next season might end up ignoring all the setup with the systemic problems of Republic City and act like beating up Amon fixed everything; I'm hopeful that it won't be that way, but I am wary.
And I will grant you that I was glib in talking about Korra's spiritual journey. What I mean to say is that Aang went out and communed with four of his past lives and the Lion Turtle to figure out how he was going to defeat Ozai without killing him and even when he got the answer, it wasn't until the very end that he felt confident to even try this. Wheras with Korra, she didn't get the chance to do anything but feel understandably miserable before Aang showed up; if there had been a moment where Korra cried out to Aang or started meditating or something like that, I think that might have worked better for me.
Love triangles are bad and should stop being a thing, that much we know to be true.
