Once again we have an episode focusing on the Love/Eas subplot which is of course dripping with subtext ranging from Love referring to her meeting with Setsuna/Eas as a date to the fact that her heart of hearts has no room for any doubt towards Eas.

Another plus of the episode was the entire sequence at Kaoru's doughnut shop with both Tarte and Chiffon giving themselves away in front of Eas without even realizing it and the girls desperately trying to come up with excuses as to why Eas shouldn't pay the slightest bit of attention to the talking ferret and fairy baby. At the same time, I don't recall the girls doing anything of the sort with Kaoru, which I feel lends further credence to the idea that he is secretly the King of the Kingdom of Sweets, see also the part where his true feelings are revealed to be the same as his regular feelings, just like with Love.

Also, the bit where Eas hesitates on choosing the red bowling ball and goes for the black one when all the other girls take the appropriately color coded ones...HINT HINT, FORESHADOWING A MILE WIDE COMING THROUGH! In all seriousness, that is actually a pretty cute way of doing that, I approve. More immediately significant though is the fact that when Eas finally gets the chance to steal Love's Linkrun, it zaps her; is this just because of her nature as a servant of Labyrinth, or does it have to do with her inevitable transformation into a Precure? Only one way to find out I suppose.

P.S. I really liked the monster fight, two-in-one monsters are always fun.
