This is the first time in an anime or manga where I've seen a guy being all afraid of thunder instead of a girl; granted, Love was also shaken and shocked by the thunder but Daisuke's was much worse given that he actually passed out while Love only had a shaking hand to show for it. This plays very well into the role-reversal aspect of the episode where Daisuke is playing the part of the plucky determined girl desperate to be brave and Love the cool sempai who finds herself appreciating this.
Also, Wester continues to be hilarious, from the misunderstanding of the box containing "infinity" to him and the monster staring at Love and Daisuke while being all "that's so sweet".
Finally, we have Miki becoming actively vexed over the fact that she hasn't gotten her power-up from Chiffon yet, which is not something I can recall encountering all that often in this sort of show; the only other example I can recall was from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and that was handled really badly, but this does not look like it will fall into the same traps as that, so this should be okay.
