Where I watch Episode 24 of Simoun

First inevitable event, Wapourif's breasts have finally started to shrink down. Which does help me get a better sense of how long it takes for the change in gender to really take hold. Though now I have to wonder what, if anything, changes if you choose to be female?

Second inevitable event, Neviril confesses her love to Aeru! It is a sweet and lovely scene, and while Neviril still wants to find the truth of what happened to Amuria, she lets Aeru know in no uncertain terms what she means to her, and what she's done for her.

Third inevitable event, Yun, after much thought and consideration, embraces Onashia and releases her from her burden, managing to save at least one soul. But now it seems that she is to be the new Eternal Maiden of the shrine, never to touch or be touched for as long as she lives.

And so with Choir Tempest formally disbanded and the Sybilla stripped of their status, they all arrive at the Spring, all except for Neviril and Aeru, who are seeking a little more time...

There is some fan speculation that Simulacrans are probably infertile until they've gone to the Spring, so you might well imagine that they would only start menstruating some time after choosing to become female.

All of Choir tempest...isn't one of them just a little kid though?

Make me wonder why people traditionally don't go until 17. Is there a practical reason, or is it a tradition, and if it is a tradition, how did it come to be.

Its amazing how sometimes a relatively short show with a simple premise can create a world you want to know so much more about.

Limone is too young, yes, but since she's... elsewhere at this point (see episodes 16 & 21 for details) it's not an issue. (Of course, the question of how, or indeed whether, she can ever go to the Spring is rather open.)
