cypsiman2: I still believe in my dreams (Kraehe)

Okay, I still don't ship it, but I'm a lot more open to Fakir/Ahiru than I was in previous episodes. Him realizing that the duck he poured his heart out to was in fact Ahiru, and him being all 'nooo, now she knows I have feeeeeelings!!!', was definitely very amusing. And yeah, Ahiru and Fakir have a pretty good dynamic going on, now that Fakir's stopped being such an asshole to Ahiru. Still, it's not quite my cup of tea, and at the moment I'm more interested in seeing Ahiru and Rue restoring their friendship and realizing that their real enemy is Drosselmeyer.

Oh, and speaking of Princess Kraehe and Drosselmeyer, I loved the bit where Kraehe contacts Drosselmeyer out of the blue, totally throwing him off his game. That, was great, and reminds me so very much of Kraehe/Rue is my favorite. Also, I find it interesting how in the original story, Princess Tutu was essentially a bit character whose purpose was to move the plot along. What can I say, all this playing around with narrative conventions really works for me!

This episode is so wonderful. Only one more episode and you've finished the first season!

I adored Ahiru and Fakir's scenes in this ep. Fakir really is a gigantic dork. I admit, I do ship them!

I also loved Edel helping Ahiru and Fakir. She's a wonderful and fascinating character.

I also thought it was awesome when Kraehe called on Drosselmeyer. That was pretty badass of her!

Wee, progress!

So long as Fakir gets dorkier and dorkier, I will be okay with the ship. I just...find it hard to forget him being such an asshat to Ahiru at the start.

I like her a ton, and I hope she won't need her strings before long.

Damn badass indeed! Talking back to the narrator and getting away with it! XD

You know you're awesome when you can take Drosselmeyer off guard and genuinely impress him!

Fakir just gets dorkier and more likable as the show goes on. He outright states that his earlier actions were wrong and he was being a total asshat people.

Verily!

...Goddammit, I'm going to end up shipping Fakir/Ahiru by the end of this, aren't I? Oh well, I could do worse than ship a pairing where intense hate gives way to love.
