Well...that was something. I'd suspected that Vanitas was connected to Sora, given that Ventus did not meet up with itty-bitty Sora the way Terra met up with itty-bitty Riku. And those Xehanort reports...they certainly paint an odd picture of the man, now don't they? Especially the tenth one, which not only confirmed that Xehanort came from Destiny Islands(!), but he took the broken Ventus there to provide him with some comfort before he died. But somehow, Ventus's heart joined with Sora's, or at least I think it was Sora's, and so after defeating Vanitas, Ventus ends up rejoining Sora's heart, which is why Roxas looks like Ventus! And now to find out what Aqua did to end up holding hands with Ventus out in the Lanes Between like that...

I've got to say, this whole thing about the X-Blade, and the Nobodies having X in there names, there's a connection. Hopefully, one that will be elaborated on.

And as for Ventus himself? Nice kid, but way to eager to be able to run around with Big Bro Terra (I like how they explicitely state this, like they've had enough of all the shipping. Like it'll do any good of course XDDD), and so like Terra, a pawn in Xehanort's plans.

I have to admit though, it's a bit off-putting for me that Aqua is not part of Xehanort's plans; technically this is a good thing, but it could also be read to mean that she just wasn't important enough for him to consider. Hopefully, Aqua's storyline will put my fears to rest!

Hahaha, it's a big tie-in, overall. Xehanort was the kid Riku mentions who was able to leave the islands; in fact, when you first start the game, there's an image of a teen saying something along the lines of, "This world is too small," which then flashes to the present--where Xehanort is standing (mind, the Japanese version did NOT do this; they added it to the English release to explain it better!). *rambles* Er, yes. I really like how everything ties together with Ven--and Sora, who is so kind he'll share his heart with another so they won't be alone. ;.;

Lol, yes. I think those two are the biggest ship so far, besides Terra and Aqua. Me, I'm a fan of the BFF trio. xD

Oh, trust me. He didn't take her into account, and that there is where his plans backfire.

Well, that's awful nice of them, considering that they refused to bring over Kingdom Hearts 2: FM+, which contained much of the foreshadowing necessary to make sense of 358 days/2 and Birth by Sleep in the first place!

The trio is very nicely developed in this one, yes!

Good! That'll show the dumb bastard for not recognizing the BAMF that is Aqua!

Oh, man, yes. If there was ever a Final Mix that should have been brought over, it should have been KH2. Of course, I just have to cross my fingers that nothing too big is added to BBSFM now. (So far, I've seen Eraqus in his armor, which is totally new, guh. AND I SAW MONSTRO. *shakes fist*)
