Rachel was nice. I liked Rachel, and I'm glad that she was able to find happiness. More importantly though, she reveals to us a rather important fact about Fakir; that his stories have the power to come true! And in fact, this is how his parents died! Poor, poor Fakir, makes you want to bundle him up and feed him soup, doesn't it? Still, it makes you wonder why it is that Fakir has this power; is it just because he's the reincarnation of the Knight from the story, or does he have a stronger connection to Drosselmeyer then that? Well, we'll just have to watch and find out!
