“Why would Miho-chan be scared?” She said, speaking in third person in a way that the other Yuugi could not help but doubt. “You got rid of those mean jerks who were going to hurt Miho-chan, so Miho-chan knows you wouldn’t hurt her.”
“You’re certain of that?” The other Yuugi could hear it in her voice, a part of her that only said what she did because she thought that was what she was supposed to say. “Maybe you’ll change your mind later on.” Besides, even if he was wrong, Miho-chan’s bubbliness wasn’t that bad. Hell, there was actually an appeal to it.

Gourry practiced his swordsmanship in silence, not just because Lina was asleep and would be very upset if he'd disturbed her beauty rest, but because challenging himself like this was the only way he could improve in his skills. After all, he was Lina's bodyguard, and as such any foe she couldn't already dispatch with a word and a wave of her hand would be most fearsome indeed.
As he practiced, perfecting the technique to swing his sword without disturbing the air which would alert the opponent with another sign of his attack, he looked down at her. When she wasn't yelling at him for being stupid, when she wasn't driven to distraction by yet another bandit calling her dragon-spooker or the like, she could look very beautiful indeed. Maybe if he got even better, he could dispatch her enemies more quickly, and he'd be able to see her beauty more often.

“Yes; he was far too much of a hack to write something that difficult.” And with that, the two young lovers laughed together, their faces shining with the same light of hope.

“Ass-kicker Suki,” Sokka started off, and already Suki couldn’t help snickering. “Her fans sweep her foes away,” Suki’s snicker gave way to a smirk, “And draw me right in.” Sokka, now finished, looked expectantly at his girlfriend.
“That’s the Haiku you spent all night working on for our anniversary?” Suki said, her amused smile showing exactly what she thought of it.
“Yep, pretty impressive, right? I mean, I don’t mean to brag, but this one time I was this close to winning over an entire Haiku class…” Sokka fell silent, as though he had just shoved his foot right into his mouth.
“Impressive enough, given that it is you.” She kissed him, her gift for their anniversary.

“Wow, I can’t believe she’s kicking already!” Yuugi said as he put his hand onto his wife’s swollen mid-section. “She must really want to come out and play, huh Anzu?”
“I sure hope so, because she’s definitely got my legs.” Anzu knew that women could get pretty big while pregnant, but the actual experience was definitely something else. Just barely into the second trimester, and already anything resembling dancing was a lost cause.
Fortunately, Yuugi saw the frustration in his love’s eyes, and was quick to respond. “Ah, I’ve thought of a name for her; how does Asuna sound?”
“Wonderful.” Anzu said with a smile she pulled in Yuugi for a kiss. “Just like you.”

“You guys, I don’t really have to choose, do I?” Sora looked nervously from one dear friend to the other, and did not care for their determined glares.
“I’m afraid you do, Sora.” Kairi said, looking more terrifying than a thousand Heartless. “In the first game you were way more fixated on me than you were on Riku.”
“And in the second,” Riku said, looking fiercer than a hundred Nobodies, “I was the one who you were obsessed with.
And then, at the same time, they asked Sora the dreaded question. “So which one of us do you love more?”
Sora, backed into a corner, deprived of his keyblade, gave the only answer he could. “Both?”
