Here's what I took from the first episode of Gatchaman.

Ken: Hey, have I told you guys how awesome my girlfriend Jun is, and how I can never disagree with her, and I literally can't live without her?
Everyone Ever: Yes, repeatedly.

Seriously, those two. They're not fooling anyone.

I know, right? XD Their relationship is pretty complex due to Ken having some issues that the series'll shed some light on, but he is SO into her. And everyone can see it a mile away.

Well, I already figured he had issues, what with him expressing his "I can't live without you" by saying "If you die, we both die". That, or the translation was awkward.

But really, I was surprised at just HOW obviously they are into one another, I would have figured it would have been one of those implicit, "there by default but we're not going to acknowledge or develop it in any meaningful capacity" sort of deals.

Nope, it seems fitting to me. :D Ken is kinda repressed like that...I've never seen the original Japanese, but it seems like something he'd say.

Well, it is, but at the same time it isn't...I don't wanna give spoilers, but while it gets development, well, Ken's issues and a load of other stuff.
