Wakfu, episodes 6 through 12

cypsiman2So, what sort of beings populate this crazy little world? Well, we've got pseudo-vampires that are just dudes possessed by their demonic equipment, we've got poison roses that drive you crazy if they don't outright kill you, bread golems and baking is serious business, and genies that eat gold to become invincible but turn weak if you feed them chocolate. Also, do not flatter the talking map to give you directions, just threaten to burn it. Otherwise it'll just send you on a wild goose chase.
And then we get a three parter, the Boufbowl match so that our heroes can buy a boat to reach Oma island so they can find out what the deal with Yugo's birth parents is. And it is a pretty sweet setup; it's kind of like rugby, except that during each period your equipment is provided with a charge of magic power, and halfway through each period the audience will vote for some random obstacle to flood the field, like rotten eggs or ice or multi-bowls. Also, if the final score is a tie, then everyone's equipment is given unlimited magic charges until someone finally scores. Also, Kriss Krass imagining Yugo being all pimp? Amused me far more than it should have.
Also, there is no way in hell that Amalia is only 13. Yugo, I can buy as 12, but Amalia...did any of the writers look at this girl? Because seriously.
But, in any event, we see one of those little glowy robot bugs following our heroes once more, so I think we can expect the plot to pick up, and my posts to become a bit more detailed.
