Love is Pinkie Pie, Miki is Rarity, and Buki is Fluttershy; I know the archetypes involved are pretty broad, but this is where my brain's gone, not much I can do about that.
Onto the episode itself, which like the first two is largely a relaxed character piece for Buki, who encounters the most awesome baker of donuts ever; seriously, this dude is really cool and I hope we get to see him again whenever one of the girls is feeling overwhelmed by things and just need an attentive ear.
Also, my earlier speculation about Love's dad has proven completely off-base, he is perfectly alive and well and there is no sign that he's been away from the family for any real period of time. Oh well, it's not like this is going to be the last time I'm completely off-base on my speculations and reads of this series.
The monster for this week was honestly pretty scary, what with it being based off a dog instead of a speaker or soda machine, nothing the least bit comic or silly about it. It makes me wonder if Eas might target a person to turn into a monster and what that would look like.
In any event, we've got a good setup for our cast and everything's been established for the first run of episodes, and all in all I think this show's got some real promise to it. That said, I find I don't much care for the opening theme.
