So, Labyrinth's objective is not destruction or oblivion but rather complete and absolute control over all life everywhere with all "unnecessary emotions" shut down. Neat. Also, some guy who kind of looks like an older Wester reports in to Moebius about how they're raising the death rate by 10%, and I'm wondering if this is supposed to be about the Fresh Precure Earth or some other parallel dimension. Either way, brr.
In any event though, we get a nice character episode for Miki after three weeks of Love focus, I seriously love her line at the end about how she'll have plenty more chances to fulfill her dream because of how perfect she is. That said, I would have liked a little more confrontation from Buki and Love on how Miki had been using her little brother as a beard; oh well, they can still do that down the line and even if they don't it's not a big deal. Also, I find it conspicuous how Miki's dad wasn't there when all three families were gathered together to celebrate Miki's audition.
Also we've got Kaoru claiming to have been an F-1 race car driver in the past, or maybe it was an M-1 race car, he can't really remember. I'm calling it now, Kaoru is actually the king of the Kingdom of Sweets in disguise and the truth will be revealed in the last five episodes.
