Episode 10 was fun but it was a pretty stock and basic body-swap episode between Buki and Tarte, so I don't have much of anything to say about it.
There are several reasons why I like this episode; first and foremost is the fact that it depicts the team's responsibilities as Magical Girls as having an impact on other aspects of their lives without being melodramatic or overbearing about it, these are just the things you're going to have to deal with if you're going to be a badass ass-kicking heroine in a frilly puffy pink dress.
Another thing I like is how this episode continues the subplot of Setsuna/Eas trying to send Love into despair and the fact that her methods are very subtle and reasonable, she is acting the part of the Good Friend with Harsh News, so it's entirely reasonable that Love wouldn't see through this and thus we do not become frustrated with Love for this.
A third point I appreciate is how no one got vilified, not even Miyuki's manager for wanting her to stop coaching Love, Miki, and Buki; we are not meant to agree with the manager but at the same time we are shown how busy Miyuki is and it is therefore entirely reasonable for the manager to want to curtail what she considers unnecessary distractions for her star.
Finally, I am amused at Daisuke turning out to be Miyuki's little brother; it was a connection I had not anticipated and makes me wonder what other connections might exist between the members of the supporting cast that we are not yet aware of, and it helps to create that sense of a larger outside world beyond our main characters and their struggles against Labyrinth.
P.S. I also enjoy how the police officers saluted Miki and Buki after they transformed, another detail that helps ground everything and makes it all feel real.
