We all have a story, or probably more than one, that has taken root deep in our hearts and has become a fixture of our souls. It's a story that forms a cornerstone of what we look for in all other narratives, the sign of what we consider most important to see in any given story and the standard to which all are judged.

The first and foremost story for me is Mahou Sentai Magiranger. Right from the outset it hooked me in with an amazing introduction, and it just kept building up more and more and more until it achieved an ending that just left me in pure awe and wonder. I have watched many amazing shows, but none have had this same singular impact on me.

I think it'd have to be The Babysitter's Club. They were just ordinary slice of life books about teenagers living in perfect suburbia, but they're what fostered my love of the whole BFF group, slice of life, YA narrative deal.

If we're talking on a more epic scale, I'd say it's either Sailor Moon, Pokemon Black and White or Fire Emblem 7.
