Well. THAT was interesting. I will say Ruka is less abhorrent in the manga, but his series incarnation has tainted the character as a whole so it was hard to think of him as oh-so-noble even when his actions technically were. And Juri was...quite a bit more "insecure shoujo tomboy" which gave her desire to be Shiori's prince an interesting layer.
Overall, though, I can't argue with the manga finally giving us Shiori after all these years. :3
