“I still can't wrap my head around it.” Aang said, laying on his back and looking up at the stars. “I mean, it always looks so peaceful up there. How could there have been a war going on up there too?”
“I know its hard to believe,” Allura said, laying down and feeling this new world's grass on her back. Each planet's grass was different. “But it wasn't all fighting. A lot of it was getting to meet new people, new friends, new...” She blushed as she looked over at Lance.
“Sky Bisons.” Lance said. “Platypus Bears. Flying Lemurs. Cowpigs. And I thought the time we all got shrunk and went to that space mall were weird!”
“Don't you listen to him Momo.” Katara was petting the little guy. “He's just jealous that he didn't get to go to the Avatar Day festival like the rest of us.”
Everyone laughed together. “Well,” Allura said, “I for one think that this world is incredible, and that the two of you have done an amazing job working together as a couple to protect it.”
“It wasn't always easy.” Aang said. “It took us almost a year to get to our first kiss!”
“Yeah, almost a year...” Lance said. Then he paused. “Wait, weren't you like 10 or something when all that fighting with the Fire Lord and stuff went down?”
“12.” Aang replied off handily. “Bad enough I had to save the whole world, but I'm also in love with the most beautiful and amazing girl and I don't even know how to tell her for the longest time!”
“It wasn't easy for us to figure that out,” Katara said, “but once it was all over, we just knew that it was time.” She turned her head towards Lance. “I'm sure it was the same for you two.”
“Yeah, yeah, totally, easy and smooth as can be.” Lance said. “I mean, come on, look at us, we were full grown adults when we met, way past being all awkward and uncertain and taking years before our first kiss and...
“Its all right Lance.” Allura put her finger on his lips, silencing him. “We're together now, and there is peace in the galaxy. That's what matters.”
Lance smiled back at her. “Yeah, you're right.” He stared into Allura's eyes.
Katara stared into Aang's eyes.
The stars were nice, but looking at the one you loved was much nicer.
Nanoha dodged the giant ancient robot's laser beams; the robot, unlike so many in the past, was shaped like a giant pink horse with a big frilly mane and it fired the laser beams from eyes that could only be described as manic. “Are you ready Fate?” Nanoha called out to her girlfriend; they'd been on a date when they'd received the distress signal from Yuuno and they were off like that to save their furry little friend.
“Ready!” Fate said, though she was distracted for a moment; the explosion that went off behind Nanoha caused her hair to flutter around and Fate just couldn't deny how incredible Nanoha looked in that moment. Fortunately, that moment was not so long that it would endanger either of them. They combined their magical attacks and brought down the rampaging giant science horse. “Yuuno, its safe to come out now.” Fate said, looking around, wondering just where he'd gone off to.
“Thank you both so much.” Yuuno squirreled his way out from beneath a pile of rubble, even though he was a ferret. Then he turned back into a boy and the issue became moot. “I was going through that console over there,” he pointed to a large computer that had gotten smashed in the course of the fighting, “and I guess I must have mistranslated the Equusian word for “big” as “little”.” He rubbed the back of his head. “Sorry that I interrupted your date.”
“Its all right.” Nanoha said.
“After all,” Fate said, “We can just continue it here.” She looked over the wreckage of the robot, then looked over at Nanoha. Nanoha looked back into her eyes.
“I'll, um, I'll do my research over there.” Yuuno said, making himself scarce. Without pushing anymore buttons, shiny or otherwise.
“I'm back!” Miki Kaoru, now age 23, said as he entered the house that he, Juri, and Shiori now lived in; their house, he thought of it. He entered the living room where Juri and Shiori were seated, rubbing each other's bellies. “You wouldn't believe it,” he put down the bag of groceries on the counter, “there was only two jars of pickles left, and I had to sprint to grab them before another man got to them.” Miki frowned. “I hope he was able to find them somewhere else.”
“Gentle and kind as always, aren't you Miki?” Juri said with a warm chuckle.
“I'll believe it,” Shiori said, “As soon as he gets that mint ice-cream and pickle mix ready.”
“Working on it.” Miki said, smiling back at Shiori. He had two bowls and he filled them both with pickles and ice-cream; Juri's bowl had more pickle while Shiori's had more ice-cream, but both mixes were a blend he himself could not stomach. “Here you two go.” He presented them with their bowls and spoons and they started eating right away.
“Thank you Miki.” Shiori said after swallowing the first bite. “I still can't believe that Juri and I are having the nearly the same bizarre pregnancy cravings.”
“Well,” Juri said, “he did get us both pregnant nearly the same time, so that might have something to do with it.”
“I still can't believe we both did that.” Miki said, blushing.
“Oh I can.” Shiori said. “After all, you played no small part in helping the two of us fully reconcile and get together.”
“And I'd always known you had an exceptional talent Miki.” Juri swallowed another mouthful of her pickle-mint ice cream. “I just didn't realize that that was your talent.”
The three of them laughed together. The situation was quite the handful for all of them, but it was more than worth it.
How about a fic where Toshi is assigned to be Eri's tutor because she needs a basic education and this'll help Toshi become a better teacher? I just want cute interactions between these two already. ;__;
Toshinori sat down with Eri with a stack of books on the table before them. “So.” Toshi said in that deep voice of his that did not match with his lanky body at all. “Where do you think we should start?”
“I don't know.” Eri said, kicking her legs out. “I think you're supposed to say that.”
“Of course.” Toshi said. Aizawa and Midnight both agreed that he was the one who needed to tutor Eri, that she was rather fond of him and it wasn't like he was doing much else with his time these days, so why not do some teaching for a kid who hadn't gotten any education? Except that his guides on how even a dummy could teach were about teaching older kids. When it came to a child at the start of their education, Toshi was just as out of his element as she was.
“I'm sorry Mr. Toshi.” Eri said. “I didn't mean to make trouble for you.”
“Eh?” Toshi looked down at Eri.
“I just...” She twiddled her thumbs, “I thought that you would like being my teacher Mr. Toshi.” Toshi's eyes widened. “That's why I asked Mr. Aizawa and Ms. Midnight to ask you.”
“Well then,” Toshi pulled the math book out of the stack, “why don't we get started?” He smiled at her.
Sorry for replying late, I don't visit this site so often but oh my goooooosh. This is so cute. <3 Thank you for this. I really hope these two get interactions in the manga soon.
Miki x Shiori: there's no malice in her desires this time, but remembering the last time she decided to date a mutual friend of theirs, Shiori still asks Juri for her blessing first. They had finally repaired their friendship, she doesn't want it in shambles again.
(Bonus points if you work in a mention of Juri having a girlfriend. c: )
"What's up Shiori?" Juri said as Shiori stood in her doorway. "I don't have much time, I'm going on a date with Wakaba."
Shiori twiddled her thumbs for a moment, but she took a deep breath and steeled herself. "Juri, I know we've only just gotten our friendship in order, but if I could have your blessing to date Miki..." What could she offer to Juri at this point?
"Of course." Juri said, leaving Shiori stunned. "I've seen how much you've grown and changed, and so has Miki. I think the two of you would be good for one another."
"Thank you so much Juri!" She bowed to her. "Please, go on your date, I've got to get ready for mine!"
