"Listen up you, I did not spend all morning making sure today would go just right, only for you to mess it all up!" Anzu yelled at the mystery assailant, dressed all in black like a ninja straight out of some cheap anime. The ninja did not respond to Anzu's words, and resumed his attack upon Yuugi, who had fallen back in his seat. But as quick as the ninja was, Anzu was just a bit quicker, and intercepted him with a decisive high kick. Normally Anzu was careful about this sort of thing while wearing a miniskirt, but given that Yuugi was being attacked, she could put a concern like that on the back burner.

"Your right Anzu, your right!" Yuugi yelled out, just in time to give Anzu the notice she needed to block the ninja's attack. Yuugi would have liked to have done more, but for a few factors; one, he was short and still not particularly physically active, and would only have gotten in Anzu's way. Second, he was concentrating very hard on not taking an inopportune and most inappropriate peek, which was the last thing Anzu needed. And third, watching Anzu fight so very hard, giving what was no doubt a trained warrior a run for his money, it was easily one of the most arousing things he'd ever seen in his life, and served as a largely unnecessary reminder of why he loved her so much.

"And stay out!" Anzu called out as she kicked the ninja out of the restaurant; aside from some minor bruises around her shins, she was just fine. She came back to the table where she and Yuugi were eating, and got back to her seat. "Now, where was I? Oh, that's right, I was telling you about that prima donna Hikari. Well, she said that she could perform a Pas de Chat that could keep her appearing in the air for ten seconds, so I told her..." Yuugi listened very attentively to Anzu, for she had fought quite hard to get her story heard, and he would hear it; with the memory of what she'd done for him, there was little else he wanted to do at this moment.
