"You know Yuugi, you can be really selfish sometimes."

"Eh?!!?" Yuugi looked up confusedly at Jounouchi from the seat he was stuck in, unable to escape.

"I have to agree," Honda interjected. "I mean, at best Jounouchi and I have only one girl each, neither of whom know we exist in that capacity, and here you've got three hotties cooking their hearts out for your love." Honda paused for a moment. "Okay, two hotties, and one future super genius hottie. The point stands."

"You guys have it all wrong! And be quiet other-me, you're not helping! I swear, if it turns out that you're behind this you'll be sorry!" Jounouchi and Honda ignored the outburst, knowing full well that their responsibility was to keep the lucky son-of-a-gun in his seat.

Meanwhile...

"All right, the burgers are almost done. Now, Yuugi likes his with onions, tomatoes, and extra mustrard..." Anzu focused as much as she could on her work, ignoring as much as possible the undertones of what she was doing. She was just working to win a contest. She was not performing any sort of 'wifely training' or anything so ridiculous as that. She could fix a meal for her friend, and not have any sort of romantic feelings for him. After all, Yami had come up with the plan, and she trusted him to understand that.

"Remember Hun, make sure you have a napkin to wipe his mouth off afterwards, that's what, twenty wife points?" Anzu shot a death glare at Mai, who just snorted with laughter. Commentary like that wasn't helping.

Meanwhile...

"Oh ho ho, look at what the shrimpy shorty-chan is fixing; Ribs! How precious!" Vivian laughed some more, her heaving bosom drawing the ire of a far smaller but far smarter girl.

"Oh yeah, and look who decided to fix Chow Mein; I guess when you're used to your John ordering food in, you don't know how to fix anything good!" The two women shot lightning bolts from their eyes, then resumed the finishing touches on their food.

Finally...

"All right Yuugi," Otogi said, taking far more pleasure as master of ceremonies then was warranted. "You've tasted the meals of three fine ladies, so who will it be; the adorable Rebecca's Ribs, the vivacious Vivian's Chow Mein, or the sensual Anzu's Burger?" Otogi got a kick in the shins for that, but he still thought it was worth it. All eyes were now on Yuugi. Despite his sweating, he could feel the presence of his other self denying him the chance to pass out. So, despite all the attendant consequences, he answered honestly.

"...Anzu."

Rebecca and Vivian both began filing objections with Otogi, Jounouchi and Honda patted Yuugi on the back, and Mai began whispering scandalous suggestions in Anzu's ears.

All in all, it was a very strange day, even for Yuugi's gang.
