the epitaph of twilight

At this point I have now seen 20 Super Sentai from beginning to end and so I've decided to rank them up, going from least favorite to most favorite, and I would like to stress that every series on this list has something going for it and even if some were disappointing, they still had aspects to them that made watching them worthwhile. Also, there are going to be spoilers, though I did try not to give too much away.

The Grand Star League Gozma has set its sights on Earth. But no sooner does the invasion begin, do five young soldiers under the command of Chief Ibuki receive the mystical Earth Force, granting them the strength and power to fight off the insidious forces of the great and terrible Star King Bazoo.

This was the Super Sentai for the year 1985, and in fact began its broadcast a mere four days after I was born. Just a mildly amusing bit of trivia I felt like mentioning. And admittedly, the premise is a pretty basic one, rather uninspiring on the face of it. Plus, one of the villains is a space pirate named Booba. Booba.  So while the series is regarded by many one of, if not the best sentai ever, I was skeptical.

In summation, this is a great series and I highly recommend it to all.
