the epitaph of twilight

At this point I have now seen 20 Super Sentai from beginning to end and so I've decided to rank them up, going from least favorite to most favorite, and I would like to stress that every series on this list has something going for it and even if some were disappointing, they still had aspects to them that made watching them worthwhile. Also, there are going to be spoilers, though I did try not to give too much away.

Going into this series, I couldn't help but be just a little wary, for the very simple reason that it has been hyped all to hell and back as the best damn sentai of the current era. Don't get me wrong, I had every reason to think that it was going to be very good, especially since I'd been spoiled to one very important, very monumental twist. In fact, knowing that spoiler in advance really helped me to enjoy the show a lot more than I think I would have.

( However, because I'm nice, I'll keep all spoilers under the cut. )

Well, it came close, but in the end, Magiranger is still my favorite sentai. Which still leaves Shinkenger as a really great show that you should definitely watch. But for me, I'll be dashing off into the past for the highly futuristic Mirai Sentai Timeranger.
